I just want to be real with you all for a moment. I am sure there are a few of you that are thinking, “this lady is not real.” Trust me, I am more real than you know.

There are days “I DO NOT” want to talk old cars. Those are the days I find my perfectly good towels in the shop ruined. The days the old cars have “slobbered” all over the floor. The days that my perfectly good cake carrier is under a car with transmission fluid in it. Also, the days that i just want to stay home and watch TV or do absolutely nothing and we are loading up to go again!

But you know what, I get up and I get going and I remember ….

• There may be a day that I can’t do this ….

• I may not have this opportunity again in this life ….

• I may meet the one person that I need to share this journey with, that needs to hear a kind word and get a smile or a hug …

There is always someone that is worse off than we are. I pray every day that God knows just how thankful I am for the life I am living. I choose to be happy and share my life with those I love and with the stranger that needs a little encouragement.

I hope that you choose to live a happy and prayerful life as well, no matter the circumstances.
